From 785 to 36,000 Views in One Month

My client Micah McLean Talks hosts a podcast where he interviews influential people such as entrepreneurs, politicians and celebrities. I was brought on to manage his Instagram and to increase engagement, interaction and following.

My role was to manage the social media accounts (Instagram, FaceBook) on a daily basis, posting podcast interviews. During this role I analysed my client's followers and target audience to determine what type of content they wanted to see, what they were engaging with and why engagement was low. I began to create content such as polls, shared questions and call to actions. 

I attended podcast sessions where I captured video and photography content for interviews with Dean Franklin (winner of the Apprentice 2025), Anisa Khan (runner up to the Apprentice 2025) and Predz UK, (a well known UK DJ). I designed a content schedule to manage the content that needed to be captured for each podcast session. I filmed call to action content with the guest speakers AND Micah MclEAN to encourage followers to watch the podcast episodes, subscribe to the YouTube channel and share the content.

The strategy resulted in social media views skyrocketing from 785 to 36,000,. Instagram was the highest platform that directed people to the podcast interviews on YouTube. Video ideas that I came up with such as 'Who should Micah McLean Talks interview Next?' which resulted in paid opportunities.
