SHARN PRODUCTIONS
Hi, I'm Sharnelle McLean, an Advertising and Public Relations student at the University of West London, a singer-songwriter and composer.
I have a passion for media, communications, content creation and events, and I have been using my skills and knowledge in these areas to help organisations connect with their customers. Over the last 2 years I have worked as a Campaign Manager, Video Creator and Social Media Manager for small non-profit charities and corporate businesses, whilst managing my music brand Sharnelle McLean Music (SMMusic).
My passion for advertising and public relations was ignited in 2022 when I organised, self-funded and managed my first headline show to launch my latest EP Beyond the Shell and my book, Beyond the Shell: The Healing Process.
I designed and managed the campaigns, press releases, social media content, Eventbrite page and trailer video to promote my headline show. The campaigns and my headline show were a success, people came from all over the UK, my merchandise was sold out, and many people wanted to know when my next show would be.
Managing the advertising and PR for my headline show and EP, allowed me to use all my skills and talents to create a successful show. The campaigns and press releases to music curators increased my streams, monthly listeners, social media following and my brand awareness. It gave me a platform that brought all my skills and talents together to create something beautiful and memorable and it made me want to learn more about what the world of advertising and public relations has to offer.
